Update from about 3 weeks ago...;.

It was -2 last night. Any sane person would have been inside. Instead, I was outside tying a tea towel around our fern. I was perfectly happy about this small task, that was until I put my hand through a very sticky and strong spiders web.

I cannot recall the rest of the “save fern” procedure apart from the fact that it involved a small scream, major flapping of my hands and several minutes of checking that I did not have a bird eating spider on my person.
