And so
we are at the end of July, no new house on the horizon, but at least Madam's bday is out of the way so we can concentrate on that.
I am not worried, feel stragely chilled about it, watch this space.

Our pet chinchilla went to pet heaven yesterday. I was inconsolable on the inside, had to try and keep happy for the kids sake. Kids said goodbye and the boy helped to bury him in the garden.
Farewell my beloved pet, I know you did not get as much attention as you were used to, due to the kids, but you were part of our family and you will be missed.

Madam's bday
Had a great time at Spring Barn Farm with our friends who came to celebrate Madam's 2nd birthday. The kids got to meet the farm animals. Madam soon figured that once she had a go, if she sat at the opposite side of the circle of kiddies, she could steal another go. Made me chuckle. Cake was lovely, in the essence of being a little girlie we had a pink cake. We detest pink in the house, so it was fitting that we consumed the pinkness.
On Madam's actual birthday we were greeted by the boy in our room at 5am. He refused to go back to sleep, Madam woke up at 6am in a foul mood. By the time hubby came back from business pow wow Madam had ripped up the boys fav dinosaur poster. Boy was inconsolable, he repeatedly got me the car keys so I could take him out to get another poster. Bless.
Hubby and I took the kids to an all inclusive play area in a nearby town, stopping only briefly to remove the testo bag to the front of our car on the dual carriageway!. Kids slept, woke up refreshed and then proceeded to bounce, climb, slide, and enjoy the rides.
Came back home, had cake and then the kids went to bed. Madam is two, going on teenager, she is very funny, talks to me in endless Hungarian and is loving fruit tea.

Farewell Michael Jackson
I loved you since I was a teenager. You moved like lightning, danced like a god and sang like it was a personal performance. You never released a song I did not like. I always had either Thriller or Bad in my car. You were a true performer. Very sadly missed.
